Boris Karloff, Roddy McDowall.
- Thrilling espionage tale, using the then-current events in Czechoslovakia as a backdrop and a means towards social commentary.
- The dialogue is sharp and insightful, the ‘message’ aspects of the story never get heavy-handed.
- Mostly, and without shame, it is really just an old-fashioned mystery. And there’s a rewarding twist at the very end.
- The guest stars are all excellent, but it is Gene Barry who towers over everyone and holds the movie together.
